Chocolate NewsTreats is a website dedicated to highlighting all of the numerous achievement and good news stories occuring in the black community on a daily basis. Often we often see images of incarcerated, impoverished, and amorale African-Americans so much that is can be difficult to remember that these stories and individuals do not reflect our community as a whole.

The African-American community has a long history of making incredibe contributions not only to this nation, but to the international community as a whole. This legacy continues  in the present whether mainstream news covers it or not.  That is why I believe we must celebrate and broadcast our heros and triumphs – so that our community and the world can be reminded of our achievements and not just our problems.
